Annita
You
are younger than me yet almost my size
You’re
growing up I understand but it’s too fast
You
dye your hair and the way you are dressed but we both know its lies
We
both know it’s not you; it’s a phase that will not last
You
remind me of me at times
We
argue and get sick of each other but you know we have a blast
You
think you’re dumb but I see a smile that shines
I know
you’re intelligent you just need to believe
I
could write about you more but this poem needs to have rhymes
I know
it’s hard right now but sometimes you got to roll up your sleeves
I went
through it as well and I know you can do it too
Remember
the amount of work you put in effects on what you receive
I
helped raise you, so you’re stuck to me like glue
I’ve
watched you grow
You’re
my munchkin, it’s just us two
I want
you to know that I love you so
In my
eyes you will always be my little Annita
I will
always be here for you; I won’t ever let you go
Eres mi baby, te quiero mucho hermanita
