Imagery Poem

Headaches
Like Zeus striking bolts in your head. An earthquake , a monkey with gigantic symbols smashing them against your head. Like hearing a microphone scretch.
Gravity pulling you down as you walk up the stairs, 10lbs being added with each step.
Unbearable pressure like a lemon being squeezed as your tears roll down your eyes.
The light, sun, and bright sky are your worst enemy.
Begging for mercy and wishing it would go away as you begin trying to lift your head up by pulling your hair.
The beauty of medicine, take 2, a glass  of water, snuggle into bed, in less than a minute you’re gone.
Sleep it all away.
